I know it's opening backdoors on my pc. . .so I need a free program that'll do it, or some registry values to delete to keep it from coming back. Thank you.

here's very detailed description of ctfmon.exe : http://www.2-spyware.com/file-ctfmon-exe.html
this file belongs to windows operating system and if you delete it, you may cause yourself a lot of problems. however this file might be used by several malwares, but i still wouldn't recommend to remove ctfmon.exe.

you need to run anti-spyware and delete malicious programs from your computer, but not the essential windows file.

There is a Ctfmon.exe in the \System32 folder. It's a part of the OS and should not be deleted. If you find any copy elsewhere it is probably part of a trojan and should be removed. Any good antivirus product should remove it.

ctfmon.exe is a 'service' provided by Microsoft Office. There are several steps to killing it permanently. Try the Microsoft Knowledgebase article on it: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/282599/en-us

Yes, it is opening a backdoor - the one Microsoft uses to automatically update your computer. If you delete, or disable it, your operating system will crash. I know, because I did it once..........
