Well, sonny, it all begins when the phone emits a ringing sound. Being lazy by nature, I don't scurry over, instead, I slouch across the room, and casually pick up the set.
I usually answer with a 'hello', though if I'm in an impatient mood, I might say 'hi'.
I then listen to what they have to say, and respond accordingly.
If it's for me, we chat. If it's for someone else in the family, I ask whom they want to talk to and pass it on.
If it's a salesperson, I act like I'm thoroughly interested and then hang up just before the sale. Alternatively, I'll say - let me just turn the oven off - then leave the phone off the hook for half an hour or so.
At the end of the conversation, the phone must be returned to its original position.
And that is that.

I normally dial the number I need, then place the phone next to my ear and mouth and then converse with people.
It's quite easy really...

crazy question,that is what I thought on seeing your question.But now I am also intrigued.How do I use my phone,maybe like i use my hands or legs or other parts of the body, Phone is a part of my body, even now it is hooked to my ears.

with a lot of caution ... it bite off my finger once ... fortunately it was my middle finger, so I grew it back again, but what if I lose my thumb? I have to be veeery careful ... we all do .. phones are not what they used to be ...
