It seems like 98% of the time if they have something bad to say about gay people they also go after other races.

i have seen people making both homophobic and racist comments! I think the theory / hypothesis could be quite true for a lot of people. But not all homophobic people are racist. Some men just will not let any one poke any thing up their back side and won't see a doctor, but may get along well with most people regardless of other's ethnicity / culture [with gay men being one of the only exceptions]
i can think of a couple of males who are not at all racist, but are a bit homophobic... it doesn't mean they say nasty things to gay men or want to beat them up
Where as the racist people who say really rude things also do say very rude things to gay men / about gay men too.

Don't know enough "homophobic" people to know if they're also racist. The only anti-gay person I know personally is just very religious, not racist as far as I know.
I'd guess that people who just have an obsession with identifying groups of people to whom they can feel superior aren't particular about who they single out for that "honor."

Hi yep they sure are, they do not understand that not everyone is like they are, in general they have lower intellect, the only way they can get attention is to hate people, they are just sad as far as i am concerned

Good question! I wouldn't say 98% myself. I'm not homophobic, but I usually don't waste my time with stupid people who are. But I know what you mean!

I am not prejudiced toward gays at all, but have a strong dislike toward most blacks.
Why?
They are always looking for a excuse and blaming everyone other than themselves for their problems.
Just ask Bill Cosby, he called them out and they wanted to crucify him

Generally. I think most every bigot is unhappy and miserable. They don't like themselves and it makes them feel better to hate and put down anyone who isn't exactly the same as them.
