Some Lithuanians living in Ireland, wrote a play, about moving to Ireland, and one of the scenes involve them discussing how ugly the Irish are.....as opposed to them being beautiful

The Irish most certainly are NOT the ugliest people on the planet.
The Irish people are the second most beautiful people on the planet after the Welsh.
Edit: anyone who lives in Ireland, no matter from where they come, very soon becomes as the Irish. In a few years, you will not notice the Lithuanians who are mostly of Viking decent.
These Viking folk will soon learn the intricate ways of Celtic culture. It has happened before. Does anyone living in Dublin classify themselves as Viking? No. Yet it is a Viking settlement. So too of the Lithuanians; in time.
The Irish remain the most Celtic people on Earth. Their history, like that of Wales, Cornwall and Brittany, goes back ten thousand years.
The oldest house in the world is in Ireland and so too is the world's oldest and longest surviving culture.

No, by quite some margin Politicians are without doubt the ugliest people on the planet ... working on the theory that being completely obnoxious on the inside will always shine through in the end.
I am with Janet ... the Irish are a crackin bunch of people. Beautiful in many ways, both by accent and by personality. As we all get older who gives a monkeys about looks anyway. So saying, all the Irish I know are actually stereotypically "good looking" anyway.

From a neutral point of view - Irish women are among the most beautiful in the world ( Especially the redheads) and the men are no uglier than anywhere else, so I think that makes your average quite high. And that's coming from an Englishman.

Thats funny. I love the look of the Irish. However, can the Lituanians keep up the good spirit we have? Why are they in Ireland. No need to compete. Just have a pint and try to keep up with us. lol

ha ha, i live in Ireland and i have to say when i first came here i was amazed at how unattractive they are. obviously not everyone is ugly but it is a high figure. i would put a lot of it down to diet a lot of the young women are in bad condition with big bums and fat bellies hanging over their jeans. as for the Lithuanians i don't know enough of them to make a judgement, but the two girls i do know work in a local shop and they are also extremely unattractive, not fat as they have probably not had much access to food where they come from, they are just naturally ugly with witch like faces.

On the contrary, I think Irish people are hot (and I'm not even Irish). Just look at Jay Leno, Conan O'Brien and Bono. Not to mention, very, very smart.
My favorite author is also Irish--Frank McCourt.
The Corrs are such beautiful people, as well!

Actually, Irish people are not ugly by any sort but attractive. I'm full-blooded Norweigian and people make jokes about Nordick peoples.
