1. Is it an improvement over your current situation?
2. Are you ready to move on?
3. Did you get a good feeling about it? I've turned down offers because my gut instinct said "no". I've never regretted that.
4. Is there a situation at your current job which is about to only get worse?

Ask big question like the job offered a growth placement or just a replacement. Is this just a summer thing... Are there any career options like benefits worthy of your time.

The rate of pay - is it enough to meet your needs?
The work - are you going to enjoy what you do? Doing something you hate, even if its good money can send you spiralling into misery.
Will it conflict with your ethics and beliefs? I've turned down jobs on this point before.

I always think the most important thing is to try and work out if it's an environment that you would enjoy working in. If you like the people then the day goes by a lot faster and easier.

the first most important thing to me is the location and how close it is to my house. next is pay. next is the reputation, like if they screw you on overtime, are the schedules fair, are the people tolerable....
