My friend has been with her boyfriend couple of months, she did have a boyfriend before who she was with for 3 years...right cutting it short - her boyfriend is going away for a weekend over his ex girlfriends holiday home with a few mates of his and her mates for a fun" weekend ...he hasn't invited my friend who is meant to be his girlfriend. Ok i thought that is very odd.
To be honest if my boyfriend who ive been with 3 years tried that bullsh*t on me...I'd hang him by his balls! Me n my boyfriend told her she was being a mug....and ask him y hasnt she being invited as she is his girlfriend . But she said i trust him..Grrr ! would u trust ur girlfriend/boyfriend to go off with an ex for a weekend?? Plz don't tell me im the only one who would kill my boyfriend if he asked me if he could! lol

THATS REALLY HARD TO ANSWER,BECAUSE IT DEPEND ON THE PERSON,AND THE STRENGTH OF YOUR RELATIONSHIP.FOR EXAMPLE I WOULD TRUST MY MAN,BECAUSE I BELIEVE IN AND HAVE CONFIDENCE IN OUR RELATIONSHIP AND MYSELF AS HIS WOMAN.YOU CAN'T WORRY ABOUT STUFF LIKE THAT,LIFE IS TOO SHORT,AND YOU CAN'T WORRY ABOUT THINGS YOU HAVE NO CONTROL OVER.IF THEY'RE GOING TO DO SOMETHING,I'M SURE THEY DON'T HAVE TO GO AWAY TO DO IT.THEY COULD HAVE DONE IT YESTERDAY AND YOU HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE OF IT.SO WHY WASTE LIFE WORRYING,WHAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN IS YOU GOING TO HAPPEN.YOU CAN'T CONTROL OTHER PEOPLE BY PUTTING LIMITATIONS ON THEM,THAT ONLY PUSH THEM AWAY,SO LIFE GOES ON.NOW NOT AT LEAST ASKING HER TO GO I THINK IS WRONG,AND 9 TIMES OUT OF 10 ITS PROBABLY SOMETHING FISHY,AND IT MAY NOT EVEN BE THE EX,BUT I HAVE SPENT A WEEKEND WITH MY EX HUSBAND AND THE KIDS AND NOTHING HAPPENED,YOU MUST REALIZE WHEN AWOMAN IS ACTUALLY DONE WITH A RELATIONSHIP,SHE'S DONE SO,LIKE MYSELF I DON'T LIKE HIM LIKE THAT,AND SHE MAY NOT HAVE INTEREST IN HIM AT ALL,THEY COULD REALLY BE JUST FRIENDS,MY EX IS A VERY GOOD FRIEND OF MINE,NO FUNNY STUFF.

You say you'll never know the truth but I think deep down you already know it. You're right, a guy would not send that text to his friend unless it was true. He had no idea you would see the text. I think it's safe to assume that he has cheated on you. That text would not have even been composed if there was no truth in it. Also, think about it, they are both going to deny it. There's no way that he would admit it to you, and his friend wouldn't either. It was a personal text, and that's why it's obvious it was speaking the truth. You should be bothered about the 'can't be arsed' part. No guy should say that about his relationship it shows complete lack of respect. By the sounds of it I think this relationship has come to the end of the road. Leave him and find someone who you doesn't make you feel so terrible.

You friend must be the most naive person in the world to think that nothing at all will happen. If it was so innocent, he would have invited her!!! She needs to tell him that she and her ex have made plans to have dinner while he is gone, and see how he reacts!! I'll bet that if it were her going to her ex's, he wouldn't be so understanding.

you have to trust your partner but they should be with you at a weekend at your ex's so there's no doubt if your ex doesn't take you along to have fun something up

Not much you can do here love. Its clear as day that he is playing her around but if she cant see that then dont spoil your friendship with her by making her see it.She will have to learn in her own time.
