Any advice on how to fight a compulsory purchase case against United Utilites would be most appreciated

As far as I am aware, ONLY the Government can 'compulsory purchase' your property ..

If UU need to lay a pipeline (or whatever) they still need Planning Permission from your local Council & this is where you can object to the route .. ..

If permission is granted, and it goes through your property, they may be able to insist you sell them a 'right of way' but they still have to pay the going rate ...

If you have a problem with UU, you need to get onto your local Council or your MP .. or go find a Solicitor
