He is 14 and he has liked pokemon for 7 years and going. Is it bad that he likes pokemon? He is not obsessed though and he doesnt talk about it much.

im 18 and pokemon was in my era of youth i love it still, i dont watch it or have any cards but i play it on the GBA every now and then

I've liked pokemon since I was about what...4 or 5.I'm now 16 and Pokemon still rocks my world!It's like an advanced version of chess but only easier.I'm also a big fan of manga and anime.I guess that's why I love the cartoon so much.
Theres nothing wrong with something you like,so leave your friend alone and let him do what he wants.

Hey now...
I'm 27 and I'll admit to watching it every now and then.
There is just something appealing about a world where you can take off on a roadtrip with your friends at age 12 and not have anyone worry about it.
I don't see anything wrong with that.

Nothing wrong with it at all, he just likes the series, many people continue to like something even after its cool to like it, i still have all my card and games.
