The Two Wolves
One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people. He said"My son, the battle is between two "wolves" inside us all...
One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.
The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith."
The grand son thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, "Which wolf wins?"
The old Cherokee simply replied,
"The one you feed."

not all humans are evil and aggressiveness at early ages is not necessarily a portent of evil. If for some reason that same child as in the example of Mr T does not learn to share and accept the other children's right to toys then some anti social characteristics could become overdeveloped. So, my theory will be do to a lack of proper training as a child or young adult evil can grow in the personality of the individual. Combine this with lack of nurturing, love and human touch you have a recipe for an anti-social or deficient individual. This lack of or improper training would include the most basic of rules to advanced social interaction which can be learned by having proper role models. Society is seriously deficient in proper role models. Politicians, athletes, celebrities and parents have dropped the ball in raising healthy social individuals.

I think it's a combination, but we all start out with a natural inclination toward selfishness (self-centeredness) which manifests itself as undesireable behaviours toward our fellow human beings.
In a phsychological study of toddlers which were never exposed to violence or selfish behaviours--put in a room with some toys-- researchers observed pushing, pulling, hitting, grabbing in less than 10 minutes--thus supporting the fact that we are born with these inclinations, and they are not learned.

Good question.
I can't blame society by itself.
it's more your inner demons, who today feed on money and greed, but I know that way before money there was always reasons for some people to be good and others to be bad.
