I like to believe that people are born good and circumstances turn them evil.
however, every now and then I meet someone or see something that puts my theory in question.

I think all humans are born good it is just the people around them that influence how they turn out as an adult even people with mental problems some develop the mental problems later in life I think due to their environment around them growing up. Because all children go to heaven no matter what when they are little and know no better until they have the full understanding of there actions and know right from wrong and choose to do the wrong anyway. No one is perfect that is why we do make mistakes and ask for forgiveness, but all in all I believe it is the influences around us who make us who we are in the end. Some however take the bad experiences in life and do good with it because they do not want to end up like the bad influence in their lives at that moment and some of us take those bad influences or bad situations and blame that on there actions resulting in evil for example someone may have been beaten as a child and use that as an excuse to kill, steal and so on instead of turning the beating into a positive reaction like teaching their kids not to ever beat a woman and helping those in need of those who need it the most to get out of that situations currently in their lives. I know long answer but this is my opinion on the whole subject.

some people have genetic predispositions to act the way they do. i've got faith that upbringing and evironment play a larger place in human habit. the two way, it somewhat is a mix of the two that make us what we are. you're what you're when you consider which you think this is the way you should be. it somewhat is conceivable to alter evil people into good people, yet rather complicated and it is not good. i've got faith you meant to ask why do extra people p.c. to do good than evil. the respond is trouble-free good judgment. by doing good and helping others, others will prefer to do help you and do good issues for you. it somewhat is a sort of selfishness. Evil people are deranged and have no concept of this.

I think we humans born neutral, but adquire goodness or mischievousness influenciated by several reasons.
That reasons can be socials, economics, culturals and even can be product of the family or way of life they have.
If a person lives alone in a desert island, wont have the possibility to be bad or good. He/she wont have the possibility to develop them being alone.

I think they are born essentially neutral. We have a tendency to sin, and all of us will, but good or evil will have to be learned.

Humans are born like a piece of white paper. When they exposed to the outside world and their parents, this piece of white paper are coloured with a lots of colours. The colours represent the peoples around. If they're with the good people, they'll learn to be good, but if they're with the bad, they'll be bad.
And a Chinese words said that "Humans are born good".

i believe they are born good.
i think the aspects in a child that sometimes refer to as "evil" are some genetic inherited characteristics which are by far not "evil" in nature but rather behavioural inherited characteristics. which, in the right hands and environment, can be mend but in the wrong hands it can prosper to produce an "evil" character.
