I am just trying to get an idea of what kinds of things you like to have available at all times on the craft service table. Also, what do you or your crew mates seem to need or want and it's never there? Hopefully there will be some crew/actors that will answer this. I already know the usual...just some special things.
Thanks ya'll.

Food of substance that isn't messy and is easy to eat. Fruits and veggies are good. Mini sandwiches are good. And lots of it. The healthier stuff tends to go quickly. The half-unwrapped candies and donuts leftover from the early wee hours tend to hang around on the table when all the real food is long gone. The problem with the sugary stuff is that it'll pick you up. But, when you need to have the energy on the set, it has already let you down. Oh, sure. We'll eat it. We're (literally) kids in the candy shop. But it's not a good thing. Bottled water, naturally. But sometimes the water is in ice - which makes the water too cold and the bottles all drippy. Room temperature water is good.

Oh! And nothing that sticks in the teeth. Toothpicks might be good to have on hand.

So, healthy, easy to eat and not messy. And when do we eat, uh, shoot?! :)

Edited to add pasta or pasta salad - small pasta, like rotelli, or something. Yum. No red sauce. Messy. But good.
