If you go to his blog:

http://www.bringmadeleinehome.com/connect/blog.xml

and read through all his entries for the day its like reading a guide in the Lonely Planet or something.

Not once does he say 'God I miss her so much' or 'Seeing that child today reminded me of the time Madeleine and I were playing in the park.'

Nope instead we are treated to such gems as:

"We were surprised to learn that a 20 seat propeller plane was sent instead of the larger aircraft."

and occasionally criticising the papers for nicking his work.

"... very disappointed that the blog was lifted almost in entirety by one newspaper yesterday after expressly forbidding such an approach!"

Also I knew at the time he wrote this that it was never going to happen and I was right.

"For all trips we are assessing whether commercial flights can get us to our destination and back to Portugal quickly."

As far as I know, they never once took a commercial flight. How convenient for them huh?

My all time favourite has to be Day 27.

"Today has gone as well as we could possibly imagine."

Uhh ....... your child is still missing ....... so how does that work??? Un-F'ing-Believable!!

Will the McCann's donate money to Keith Bennett's mum to help her find Keith before she dies? All she did was let him walk to his nan's and she has never forgiven herself. She still goes to the Moors and digs for her son. THAT is what a parent does!!! That is REALLY leaving no stone unturned!!!! Bless you, Winnie. One day, Keith will be with you again.

It almost seems like a business plan I do feel for them and I don't believe that either of them had anything to do with her kidnap but it does seem that it was very specific how would some one know that the kids were alone unless it obviously wasn't the first time they keep saying it was a holiday everyone does it well I have kids and would never even dream of leaving them alone for 5 Min's and lets face it they said they were watching really closely and that can't true or they would have seen what happened I hope Madeline is found safely but if and when she is her parents should be charged with neglect as the rest of us would be if we had left our children.

Well said Dave, I see Pitsdown Man is moaning again about people questioning the Mc Canns. Why when the man won`t allow people to emaiol him does he complain about others. Why doesn`t this little man tell us what he does for a job instead of campaigning for evryone else to disclose their identity.

I cannot read this crap blog anymore. How this guy can even think of sitting at a computer and writing this thing is beyond me.
But of course one must remember what a great book this will make and they have all these supporters who will be happy to part with their money and buy the stupid thing.
It sickens me. He looks angry all the time and I am very suspicious of him

ive thought the 2 of them seemed pretty unemotional from the beginning. This is the first time I have read his blog and its as if he is a reporter writing about someone else rather than his own daughter.

I have shown more emotion in my blogs writing about my cat

I understand that some are not as emotional as I am and/or do not show emotion in public but given the situation this is unbelievable.
And why doesn't Kate contribute to the blog? why is is his blog not theirs - they have both lost a daughter?

Its just you... & of course your good friends.
Some people (most guys) don't like to share their inner feelings. Acknowledging it takes time, speaking about it even to near ones is hard & you're talking about filling a blog with it??? which will be read by total strangers most of whom will scoff & find fault with it??? You know, you totally disappoint me with this one. Even your last assessment of Gerry McCann's statement is so twisted...he specifies "as well as one can imagine"...But no, you have to twist it to suit your warped sense of justice. Has it ever occurred to you that he might not be the wordsmith you are? or that he is so emotionally drained that he functions or tries to function at a very basic gut level that has no room for social niceties? But just continues thje blog to perpetuate Madeleine in our minds?

Definetly not you, Dave! I have waited since day 1 to see any sort of emotion from the two of them, as you see with any missing child. It is as if they are waiting for her to come home so that they can tell her off for wandering away

No, it's not just you. A lot of us have noticed, and it's only a matter of time before that national press get fed up as well.
