LOL, good question. It is hard for me, have to pretend to be interested and smiling.

Yeah, and I think it is sad that almost everybody here said yes too. I think life is too overwhelming sometimes that we can't even give a little something that is not there, maybe for somebody else. It is a good question and I am going to think about it more and maybe try to fake it more for the people I care about---I think is shows support.

Not really cause nobody really asks me whats wrong since ive been doing it for a long time so im pretty good at faking it. But SOMETIMES it can be pretty obvious especially when i try to force my laughs a little too much just so i can get in the hyper mood.

I have a hard enough time faking that I'm not totally depressed, let alone enthusiastic.

To be honest, I could never fake it.
I think I've got ADD my mind is sooo offtrack
People always tell me I'm a fun *** person to hang out with cause I always have something to talk about, be excited about.
It really just comes naturally..
I think its from all the hard times I went through, though.
Sometimes we laugh when we're tired of crying.

If you can't be genuinely enthusiastic, try to be kind and find something of interest to you about the proceedings that you can truthfully and comfortably say. Or think of something far worse, and express you gratitude that it is not like that. "I'm so glad it didn't rain at your second cousin's Bar Mitzvah!"

It sucks to have to fake anything when you want to be honest and real. I wish everybody was a little more honest and real.
But, to answer, I can fake it because I have waited tables and had to perfect my technique. For tips...

Just speaking for myself, the older I get, the harder it is to put on my "Game Face" and meet the world. Given the fact that I am in marketing, I gotta be smilin' or I ain't gonna be sellin'. Yeah, I find it tougher than it used to be. Good luck.

I am one of "the rainy day people", I rather be honest and polite then waste time faking it.
