I would say they are about the same. Actually let me contradict myself a little- Red Lobster would be a bit more expensive on some entrees, because seafood costs more than pasta....

I have a question for you. Do you mean more expensive by what is the price on the menu or which is more expensive compared what it would cost you to make the same meal at home? If its the comparison to a home cooked meal I would say Olive Garden. Pasta, salad, soup and bread sticks, some grated cheese are all a blueprint for good profits for the Darden restaurant. I have also seen articles about Olive Garden wine being a big profit margin item which is why it is always being promoted. Personally I like a homemade Italian meal with my husband while watching the Sopranos and that beats a night out at Olive Garden anytime.

Both red Lobster and Olive Garden are Darden companies I would have to say that they are moderately priced and both comparable However Olive garden had a few all you can eat deals one for pasta its like 8 bucks ish plus your drinks and it comes with all the salad and breadsticks you can eat and then they also have soup and salad lunches 7 bucks ish
