Off the top of my head,

1) Did it kill you?
2) Have you grown in any way because of it?
3) Are you content with the choice?
4) Do you feel regret?

That usually settles it for me...

Does it make you happy? Do you feel like everything is just falling into place it just feels good even if there are some bumps in the path? You wont really know until you have spent some time on that "path" or major. It will just click for you. If you haven't chosen the right path or the path is the right path at this time, no big deal.. just go back and get another major, people do it all the time. Confusing.. I know.. sorry!! :) Best of luck... if your happy stick with it! Don't let money and what other people believe to be your right path get in your way.

It's different for each of us. However, when you're on your right path, your heart will know and your life will be better because of it.

I was actuallly thinking of this weeks ago, and the purpose of choice. What is best is an absolute, it cannot be rationally known--which is not to say that it cannot be known--but that it transcends simple logic. Otherwise the simple "list pros and cons" would be the universal judge of all things. It can best be compared to another nonlogical choice--music. Just like you can recognize what a sour note is, and what a proper note is, hopefully, with experience, you can develop a wisdom to help make decisions in your life. Just like in music, you may easily find a note that fits, it may not be the best one--that comes from the skill of the composer.

To be on the right path means that while you have a little voice wondering if you made the right choice and you have a louder one cheering the path you are on.

I dont believe anybody knows the "right" path to take in life....If we made all of the right choices, knew which path was THE right one, we'd never make mistakes, life would never be anything more than boring, and we wouldn't have the opportunity to grow and learn from our experiences, mistakes, failures, and successes......You do what you feel good doing, go with your gut......

I think this accounts for 80 % of our anxieties in life. Few people ever know they are on the right path. For this to happen you have to develop your 'gut instinct' That means have trust, faith & confidence in yourself. Never mind if you make mistakes at first. That's how we all learn in life. And everyonce in a while ask yourself this question ...'if you're in the right path'

you know what is right when you truly feel no regrets. if everything seems as if it is falling in place no matter what you think you should be doing then you know you are doing the right thing. and for a major find out if you want to help people or make money then find it out from there!

What ever path you are on will bring you all that you need, just keep moving. Life is a wonderful adventure or a miserable waste of time or somewhere in between, it is your choice. Choose, them go for it.

you never know if you are on the right path(it may feel right) but life has a way of rearing its absurd and ugly head and knocking you of that path unexpectedly.

if you feel that your on the right path continue, but always be prepared for the worst and unexpected. nothing is truly right and nothing is truly easy.
