My brother and I had bunk beds, and I was the bottom bunker.
This was always fun for me, because I would tuck the bedspreads into the springs under the upper bunk and make "forts" or "huts" like on "Gilligan's Island."
Bottom bunk is best-est of all!

Top. Growing up my sister and I had a bunk bed and I had the top bunk. For some reason, I like it a lot better than the bottom. :)

Bottom or else when the bed breaks under my heavy weight I will be impaled by the 4 support beams spraying blood up in the air like a volcano to the cats circling the bunk bed like sharks waiting like turkey vultures with their tongues wagging. That would not be an honorable death- impaled and eaten by owners hedonistic cats. Besides, my idiot cousin pushed me off one backwards once and I fell head-first on the vent below and had to get stitches. Blood exploded forth and there was wailing and gnashing of baby teeth.

I would take the top - depending on who I was sharing the bunk with of course :)

if the roof is closer to the top bunk then bottom, i like to ride top on guys.. so in other cases top. ;-)

and i would not let anybody go into the top one
i´d stick them with nitting needles

well, that all depends! if it was a jail bunk you mean.. definitely bottom! otherwise.. most likey bottom but wouldnt really care so much!

the top...if anything happens at the bottom i will wake up before something happens to me....then again...
somebody could just punch something through the bottom like in horror movies...eek I am thinking too much...
