Instead of counting sheep, count just the feet. Then divide by 4 ☺

The shepherd is one of a few of the people on the planet that is genetically advanced enough *not* to tire from repetitive and simple thoughts. Truly, he is the bionic human - capable of simple, tedious, constant thoughts of minute detail - in the end, he will rise up... and he will conquer.

He most probably uses the point finger of his routine hand and points it out towards the sheep, the goats, or any cattle to count them right.Or, he may just use his eyes to do so... Good innovative thinking... Keep it up...
