what can i do about my stupid dad??? he is driving me nuts??? help!!!?

ok, today, my dad called me around 8:48pm. i picked up the phone and he told me that he had been trying to call me for the past 3 hours. i told him that the f.u.c.k.i.n.g. phone wasn't working (which it really isn't, and he knows that). then we got into an argument and he f.u.c.k.i.n.g. cussed me out. then 5 mins later, the *********. calls again. he tells me that i HAVE to apply to a college when i don't even want to go!!! i told him that i want a ******* break and my mom supported me! but he said that if he told me that i have to go to college, that means i have to go! so yeah, my life sucks! i have to listen to him cuz i live in his ******* house, and i currently don't have a job! then on the phone, he asked me what my plans were for the future. i told him that i want to start my own business. then he started to ask other dumb questions, like how am i going to start it, how am i going to get the $? then he told me that whateva i do, i am going to need his help!

he sound so boastful and tried to sound like he was my GOD, or something.

bottomline is that both my parents run my life. they tell me what to do, and when. if they said i have to go to college, then i have to. my opinion or decision doesn't count. i feel so hurt that my parents would be this selfish and inconsiderate. they care about their reputation and pride more then their childrens' emotions and feelings.

sorry i cussed here, it's just that i have some much anger inside me, that i don't even know where to vent it. sorry!

The Bible states "honour thy father and mother". When you least realize it they will be there for you no questions asked but in order for you to reach that goal you can't afford to shoot of your big
mouth to your dad because that isn't showing respect in which
he merits.

Be a nice girl and a friend and invite your dad out for father's day
but please be prepared to get him something that he will like that way you can begin to sweeten him up without being gross.

Remember that every single female knws how to win a man and you must win your dad's trust now and not later.

Well, I can see where you get the cussing. If you want to be different than you Dad, stop the cussing, it isn't necessary and we can hear you without it!
If I were you, I would get a job, move out of your Dad's house, even becoming a roommate in someone elses home and see how it goes. You both need some maturity. I really think your Dad wants the best for you, he just has a lousy way of showing it. Without any money or support from someone, you will not be able to open your own business. Start from the bottom, like the rest of us and develope some people skills. Good luck!

Man Yam U R in a tight spot. Just know that this too shall pass. My dad was the same way with me. He would get mad yell and scream at me too. I think the best thing to do is let him just think he knows it all, although u know better.Pacify him, so u dont have the added pressure of conflict when ur trying to focus on studying . He may back off some when he thinks he has helped and full filled his dominate influence on ur ability's. U don't have to prove anything to him, U seem determined to pass ur tests, Know that u can do it and will b fine im sure youll pass with flying colors. Paris, at this time I would like very much to answer your question by offering you some free sound advice.

I remember when I was your age that I had to live by myself or get a roommate but onething is for sure I had to get myself a nice job
that could pay for all of my expenses in which they appear below:

1. My rent
2. My food
3. My used car
4. My gas bill (for my car)
5. My light bill
6. My telephone bill
7. My internet bill
8. My dining bills (for lunch and dinner from time to time)
and whatever was leftover at the end of the week was for me to use as I saw fit.

I highly recommend that you try this out as of this Monday, June 18, 2007 and see what type of a job you can get but rest assured
that the money that you will making is yours for you to spend wisely
on all of your bills that you have to pay.

If you are over 18, you can do whatever you want and you don't have to listen to him. Otherwise, you have to what he says, sounds like you're parents are separated and if it's the law, it's the law. your parents usually want the best for their kids but if you are so unhappy in their house eating their food using their utilities probably using their gas move DUHHHHHHHHHHH show them you can be a success on your own
