Shelton benjamin consistantly outwrestles all the main eventers (lashley, Cena, Batista). Is there any wreslter on wwe better than Shelton? And why is Shelton Benjamin the greatest wrestler ever to be so severely overlooked,

no. thats bullshIt.
He doesnt have the talent of a benot or a perry saturn, but few do.
But, he has as much marketability as anyone, but wwe are idiots. cena gets booed everywhere and has never gotten over anywhere for any reasonl Shelton gets cheers regardless because they respect the ability.
wwe just rewards the d minus students (cena, lashley, batista, umaga) and holds back the best talent they have (carlito, benjamin, nitro)

Benoit is better. As is Michaels. I could go on. However, while he is underrated by the casual fans, he's actually called the most underrated wrestler by others so much that he's well, rated. Anyway, that's beside the point, he is decently underrated.
However, he can't speak on the microphone whatsoever. During promos, he's arguably the most boring person on the roster. Sometimes I think Khali can do a better promo. At least when he's speaking, I can try to decipher what he's trying to say.
"What's that? Khali wants a car? Or does he want a carburetor? A first blood match, oh okay..."
If Shelton actually had half the marketability John Cena has, he'd be champion for God knows how long, and WWE knows that. Unfortunately, Shelton can't get a good reaction from the fans, despite three Intercontinental Title reigns and bringing in his "mama." That's why he's not being pushed to the moon.
Oh yeah, also because he's lazy. And he botches a lot, but that's to be expected.
A bit more. Yes, Cena gets boos, but at least he gets a reaction. Outside of the ring, where Shelton can't do his springboard clotheslines and other stuff, he's pure crap. Have you ever heard of the term "Haas pop?" It's when a wrestler comes out to the ring and gets little to no reaction, and it's named directly after Charlie Haas, Shelton's own partner, who almost never gets a reaction. In fact, the only time Haas did get a reaction is when he knocked Lillian Garcia off the ring apron, but that's beside the fact. Shelton's the same way. He can't hold together a feud, and that's why he's not pushed. WWE recognizes he's a good wrestler, that's why they even tried pushing him in the first place, hoping that his wrestling could get him over while hiding his terrible mic skills, you know, in a Benoit-style fashion. But if you can't get a reaction, you ain't gonna be pushed. That's the end-all be all, and Shelton can't. In fact, the saying goes, "the worst reaction is no reaction," and outside of the ring, Shelton gets no reaction. If you've seen the Shelton matches, you can tell that the crowd will pop and go nuts whenever he does those springboard moves or does something crazy with a ladder, but when all is said and done, they stop caring about him. Why? Because Shelton can't create a character for the fans to care about because he has no charisma. The fans who watch for the actual wrestling may care about him, but those casual fans who watch WWE because "CeNa Is So HoT!!!" don't give a damn about him, and unfortunately, those are the people who matter most to the company because they are the ones who buy the most tickets and merchandise. I can assure you, if Shelton was in a wrestling-important company, he'd be champ. But he's in an ENTERTAINMENT company, and he needs to be more entertaining outside of the ring. John Cena, despite being booed like crap by some, is cheered by others, and they buy his merchandise and they gives him a reaction. Boos or cheers, its a reaction. Same with Batista and Lashley, who get reactions, even if only for their monster pushes. It's the reason why Benoit is a one-time champ and Batista is a two-time champ with a possible third on the way (God forbid).
And as said, Shelton lacks dedication. You can tell he's just running through the motions, in a Carlito-esque fashion. Now, I don't know if he's been like that of late, but he certainly was like that, and it was unfortunate to see him waste his talent like that.
But the fact of the matter is, Shelton Benjamin has gotten the pushes, and the fans don't respond. It's as simple as that, and until he can find some way other than his wrestling skills to make the fans care about him, then he's not going to be a main event guy.

I agree with you. He's been the star in both money in the bank matches he was in and then again in the ladder match at One Night Stand. From what I've read on the websites is that he's so good that he doesn't think he has to put forth the effort to get better. Almost that everything should be given to him just because he can do things that most cant. Carlito is the same way. When Flair did that promo about Carlito not being focussed and motivated, that was a work/shoot promo and he was also referring to Shelton. Plus, Shelton mic skills arent the best. Their better than Lashley's but it needs to improve. I think his de-push started back when he asked for time off just so he could buy a house next to his real life best friends Charile Haas and Jackie Gaydia. Hope this helps.

Steven Richards comes to mind- way more charisma than Shelton. But I agree, Shelton Benjamin really needs a push and I want to see him feuding for the title with Benoit in ECW. That's solely from the perspective of a wrestling purist, though. And Teamxtreme, you seem to like Jeff Hardy, thus your opinion doesn't matter.

I guess... between the two... man, this is tough. I'm going to have to agree with you and go with Shelton Benjamin on this one. It was a close decision, though.
