Do you think Tony got wacked? it was strange how the show ended. wasn't what I expected. Very disapointing for a final episode. What was the whole significance of the Journey song, how it took his daughter so long to park her car, and I'm wondering if that guy that was sitting at the bar was a Fed. The ending was weird and unanswered.

He was killed....

in fact, the ending was genius if you've paid attention to the show or
are just a fan of well developed well thought out plots that all tie
together and have the memory of a champ to remember it all

the ending was simple, he got killed, but let me tell yall why and
explain in detail... There was 3 people in the room total who had a
reason to kill tony.....

the two black guys, they were paid before to kill tony but he was only
shot in the ear, this was in one of the earlier seasons,

also in the earlier seasons, the trucker who was sitting at the bar
stool, who the camera kept focusing in on, is Nikki leotardo, Phil
Leotardos nephew, he was in one of the early season episodes where Phil
and Tony have a sit down....

heres where the genius comes in....

When tonys walking in the diner, you see the camera focus on him, then
it switches to his perspective, and you see him looking @ the booth hes
gonna sit at...

then the camera switches back to tonys face, then it once again
switches to his perspective, and it shows him looking @ the door and
looking @ the people come in..... Everytime the door opens the Chimes
sound....... Carmela walks in, Chimes, AJ walks in Chimes, this when
Meadows parallel parking, still trying to get inside the restaurant....

at this point the camera switches back to the trucker who goes in the
bathroom......

Then it goes to a scene where meadow finally parks and starts running
in the diner....

the doors about to open, Tony looks up....

and No Chimes......................

No Music............

Everything just goes black...............

In one of the early episodes of the sopranos, tonys talking with bobby
about what it must feel like to die..

Bobby says "at the end, you probably dont hear anything, everything
just goes black"

part of that was revisited in the second to last episode during the
last seconds of it, when tonys about to go to sleep and he flashes back
to the memory of him and bobby on the boat... "You probably dont hear
anything everything just goes black"

so in the end, the Journey song was playing, the chimes on the door
sounded but when meadow came in, the guy in the trucker hat came out and
killed tony...

its the reason you aint hear, or see **** when he died.... it was from
his perspective.... and everything went black, then the credits rolled.

David Chase said everything you need to know is in the final scenes. He told the crew to listen to the song...really listen to it.

Episode is called "Made in America". The man is wearing a "Members Only" jacket, even mentioned in the final credit.

Episode 66 (Season 6 part 1) is called "Members Only". It's also an episode where agent Harris went to Pakistan. AJ expresses interest in being a Fed in the last episode. And it's the episode where Tony is shot by Uncle Junior.

Significant to have mentioned it. Ford that ran Phil over, also significant.

I'm picking these lines from the song:
He took the midnight train goin anywhere (last time in NJ before they go under witness protection, not knowing where?)

Strangers waiting, up and down the boulevard
Their shadows searching in the night
Streetlight people, living just to find emotion
Hiding, somewhere in the night
(hiding and waiting to whack the family as per Phils orders...or the Feds)

Some will win, some will lose
Some were born to sing the blues
Oh, the MOVIE never ends
It goes on and on and on and on
(life goes on as usual. Tony will live always looking over his shoulder. Also the hint at the rumored movie? )

Song prior to "Don't Stop Believin" is Little Feat's "All That You Dream":
I've been down, but not like this before
Can't be 'round this kind of show no more
(Gandolfini tired of doing the show? Is this a dream?)

It's Alright Ma (I'm Only Bleeding) by Bob Dylan mentions a lot of things including dreaming and death.
"You Keep Me Hanging On"
Repeated 3 times in the show. Basically directed at Phil.

No one in the final scene was in previous episodes.

That final episode is bothering you and millions of others as well......As for me, I want my money back!!! I've been reading and watching what everybody is saying, and best I can tell is David Chase has an ego as big as the state of Texas. He is delighted that people are talking and carrying on about the ending of this show. His ego and head is so swelled right now.....he sucked all of us fans into this last ego trip.

I don't know what happened and I am not gonna make myself crazy trying to get into Chase's head for the meaning to a dumb finale. The fans got cheated and he's laughing at us. People are saying he is a "genius", I say BULL...........!!!!! This was a cop out, big time........Wait a few years fans, there will be a movie of some kind. I doubt if this franchise will ever END.......

Someone suggested that they could start off a movie where the series finale left off. Then maybe the Sopranos could go out with a bang instead of a whimper.

I've never seen a single episode of the Sopranos but I would be pissed if I was a huge fan and it ended like I hear it did.

With a show that has been running for so long and had so many plot twists it is almost impossible to tie up all loose ends and just end the families existance.I think the writers wanted to leave it wide open for enterpretation to sell more dvd's and possibly even leave the option to revive the show or make a movie, after all money talks and if people want more HBO Im sure will give it to them if they want to pay.

that was by far the worst ending to any show, in the history of tv. who the hell knows what happened, either he got killed, he went to jail, or they lived hapily ever after, that would have been an ok ending if there was another season coming up, but theres not, im pretty mad about that ending.

That's for sure. I thought his daughter's car was going to blow up or something. But as far as the ending goes, I actually thought that something went wrong with our television.
