I have absolute, total, complete faith that mankind is going to destroy us all. We are screwed. Just look at how the world is today. We all need to take a deep breath and look at things from the perspective of what is best for everyone and the planet, instead of what is best for "me, myself, and I". I hope things do get better, but I am not counting on it. Here is good luck to us all.

I do, and I just had the trip from the black Lagoon to prove it. I had to count on the goodness of strangers to get me out of a bad situation. I found that people everywhere were willing to help me.
Our boat broke down on Lake Powell. We had to accept a ride from strangers 2 1/2 hours upstream to the nearest marina. From there we had to hitchhike into the nearest town. The people who gave us (me and 2 kids) a ride also bought us dinner that night. Many other people were very kind and helped us formulate a plan for communicating with my husband who was still stranded on the lake for 3 days. People at every turn were willing to do whatever they could to befriend us, help us out and give us discounts on things we needed to buy (ie: hotel rentals, car rentals, food, etc.) Yes, I believe that most people are good and love to have the chance to help others.

No...I think it's getting much worse. I just turn on the news and shake my head and wonder when the next bullet is going to hit me.

i have faith in people as individuals..
..but once you get a big group of em, they start making bad decisions.
