How long would it take you to complete these two course over the summer if I spent a majority of everyday learning through Stanford EPGY? I would do math 10-12 hours a day.

Well if I was doing math for 10 hours a day, I would kill myself... I found Algebra and Precalc very easy, so it would probably take me 2-3 weeks, but I wouldn't do it that many hours a day... If there is trigonometry thrown in, add 2 weeks... trig is a *****, to be quite honest.

Algebra 1 or algebra 2? I've taught both, and precalc, and alg 2 in 4 hour chunks (in class), 4 days a week, never mind homework, is like drinking from a fire hose. Of course, that was community college. EPGY is for gifted youth. If you're gifted, and Stanford's online program is high enough quality from a teaching perspective, you might manage it. Good luck. Do ALL the practice you can manage -- that's where at least half the learning is.

Alg 2 and precalc are usually 4 or 5 credits. Multiply that many hours a week by 16 weeks to get 64 or 80 class hours for the courses, respectively, plus 2.5 hours homework for each class hour. It works out to about 500 hours for the 2 courses. If you had the necessary stamina (didn't end up bleeding out your ears), that would be 50 days at 10 hours a day.
