I told the school, including friends that I wouldn't attend school tomorrow. My plan was to have my dad drop me off at school and I was to walk to the bus stop and take the bus to my friend's house, who currently isn't going to school. Then before school was over I was to walk back to school where my dad picks me up, and he would have never noticed I skipped school. The problem is my friend's parents are going to be at her house, so I can't go. Thursday is the last day of school, but I'm not going and I wanted to skip school tomorrow too because of a certain problem I am NOT willing to face. Now I dont know what to do because I told the school that I'm not going and I cant tell the school the truth. Help!

I know skipping school is bad and if you're going to tell me to just go then please dont answer my question. Wednesday and Thursday are the last days and I haven't missed school at all...

I wish I knew how old you are and what problem you have that you are "not willing to face" at this time. But, since that information isn't available, I will try to answer as best as possible without "lecturing." :)
I'm assuming you are at least in high school since you type with proper grammer, spelling, and punctuation.

I guess the first thing that comes to mind is telling your parents about this "problem" and seeing if they can offer any words of wisdom. As impossible as it may seem, your parents may have the key to the solution for you. Even if they don't know the answers, I'm sure they would be supportive, which is always beneficial in a time of crisis.

You say that you haven't missed any school at all up to this point, which makes it even sadder that you feel you must escape from this "problem" and ruin your attendence record. Obviously, you are set on not going to school on Wednesday and Thursday, so why not tell your parents you are ill? This would allow you to stay in a safe environment at least, instead of wandering the streets or prowling around the mall while waiting for school to be over. I'm not condoning missing school, nor am I saying that faking an illness to escape a problem is the best tactic to employ, but if you are set on not going, at least try to do it in a "safe" way. Just stay home so you aren't putting yourself at risk.

I hope you find a way out of your situation and that everything gets resolved soon. Please take care and please be careful, regardless of what you decide to do.

Good luck!

i know it would be wrong for me to tell you how to skip school, but I've done it a few times and it really is over rated if you just stay home alone. By noon you'll wish you went to school just to hang out with your friends. But if you're just looking for a day off to kind of chill out and watch TV all day, I can understand that.
Spend a lot of time in the bathroom, make sure your mom takes notice that you've been in the bathroom a lot. Make several trips the the bathroom and kind of run to it each time. When your mom asks what going on, just say you have been pooping a lot and you feel kind of urpy. The worst that could happen is that she'll give you some Pepto. Now, once you're able to stay home, just hang out and relax. Do NOT raid the fridge and leave dishes everywhere, that will be a huge clue that you were just playing hooky. You have to follow through with the plan and be low key after school is out too. You can't just magically feel better once school is out and be able to go to your friends houses. You stay from school, you must stay home after school is out, that way mom will never think you were just faking. To add to the realism, tell your mom that you will get your homework assignments from who ever so you don't get behind.

Good luck!!!

Is your dad going to be at work? If so why don't u and your friend just hang out at the mall all day? Or a park? If that doesn’t work for you is their creek or river near by that no one really goes to. Gives you time to yourself to think.

Now, you know that this part was coming. Skipping school is not good! I only skipped school once it my whole life and that was because my friend was thinking of killing herself. What ever the problem, you need to be big enough to face it. Running away doesn’t help anything. And if it is a big problem why don't you talk to your dad about it?

I'm not going to tell you NOT to skip school, what I want to tell you is the majority of serious, and I mean serious problems students find themselves in are because they aren't where they are suppose to be. That can lead to a lie, nothing to do, then an idea that doesn't;t sound to bad, but as the day goes on, it gets worse and worse; Hitchhiking, making friends with a stranger, breaking into a house, shoplifting, sex with a minor etc. So my advice is find somewhere safe to spend the day, even if you have to go back home, or go back to school. You don't have to give much of an explanation to be in school. Just your plans fell through.

okay the thing is im in high school and no one actually goes to class for the last week or so. but you sound like you're in middle school since you have your dad picking u up and everything.

i hope you know the school will call your house in the morning because you're absent, and your dad might find out. and you should just tell your friends parents that its a PA day or something...or something going on that theres no school

first call around, even if ur not too good of friends with the people, and see if snyone else isnt going. If so tell em ur not feelin up to goin, then ask to meet up with them. Of they've dont this b4 then they'll have ideas on what to do.

Well, if that doesnt work go to a park or somethin
thats what all my friends do. Just go to a park away from ur house and skool, moms wont b there cuz they work and their kids r in skool. If someone DOES show up then tell em ur on summer vacation away from home and visiting or didnt have skool that day...

if u havnt missed skool u totally deserve it!

hope this helped just a lil!
=)

Just wake up really sick.
Just moan and groan complaining of a stomach ache.
Maybe your parents would let you stay home.
Is your friend staying home too because if shes
'skipping' school then you can take the bus elsewhere
instead of her house.
I know its not good to encourage skipping school but
hey, i had problems of my own when I went to school too
and I sometimes I just didnt want to face them so I
PARTIALLY know what you are going through.

Whatever it is, just think 'This too shall pass'

Good luck!

I think you are either going to have to go to school and face up to your problem, or explain the problem to your parents and see if they will let you miss the last two days.

I mean you could fake being sick, or spend the day in the mall but how pitiful and you'll very possibly get caught. I'd just bite the bullet and talk to my parents or go to school - whichever you fear less.

You have 3 options:
Tell your dad about the personal problem that is preventing you from going.
Fake sick.
Or go with your original plan, just don't go to your friend's house. Go to a movie, the mall, have a day just for you.

I don't think that you really have a choice here...you should face this problem, because trust me, there will be other times in your life that you WILL wish that you could have left THOSE situations..and perhaps those will be MUCH harder to get out of than this one!
Also, facing the scary, can be a great life lesson..I know..I have gone thru some doozies! I hated them..but, did them anyhow..(one part of me, wanted to run out of a hospital,,trust me on this! LOL!)
But, I went thru the surgery, whether I wanted to or not..I did NOT have a choice in this matter....not in the slightest!!!!LOL!
