I have a long short-sleeve coat (Dressy sort), and I wanna match it with something OTHER THAN BROWN! I wanna wear pants, a long sleeve shirt under neath, and a scarf.

i would probably do a white shirt underneath, maybe a navy colored scarf?
i think the orange matches with navy, denim and white very well. Green of similar shade would also go OK. They are opposites on the color wheel from each other. Purple, which is adjacent might also look nice.
