x/x-10 + 7/x-5 =x^2/x^2-15+50
1 -10 +7/x -5 = 1 -15+50

-7/x = 50

x = -7/50

so first combine like terms for both sides
x/x + 7/x + -10 - 5
=1(x/x=1) +7/x -15
=7/x-14
(first side)

x^2/x^2 -15 + 50
=1(x^2/x^2=1) + 35
=36
(second side)

so, it really is 7/x -14=36
add 14 to both sides to give you 7/x=50
times x for both sides which gives you 7=50x
then divide both sides by 50, and so your answer is
7/50.

x/(x-10) + 7/(x-5) = x²/[(x-5)(x-10)]

multiply all by (x-5)(x-10), and eliminate denominators

x(x-5) + 7(x-10) = x²
x² - 5x + 7x - 70 = x²
2x = 70
x = 35
