I didn't and that makes me sad. I know some things about them but never got to meet them.

Yes, I sure did know my patern great grandmother (father's grandmother), and I still have fond memories of stories she told me of life and times she had growing up as a kid, and fond memories of talks we had whenever I thought to pick up the phone to call and talk with her. When my great grandmother passed away early 2006, I was a bit shocked to learn that she was found on the floor of her house by an uncle that was visiting her. I miss her but cherish the memories and time we had to spend enjoying each other.

I have no idea what any of my great grand parents were like, I don't even know that much about most of my grandparents...and almost all of them are still alive!

I knew my great-grandmas but not my pappas. My mom had me really young so it was easy for me.
