Greed is a major cause of the global conflicts. The greed for power and for money. The people who want money just want more power, and vice versa. Prejudice also cause some conflicts, but not quite as major anymore.
There will always be global conflicts, as long as there are people or a group of people with different beliefs. The most we can do is reduce global conflicts.
First, the people who are in positions of power will have to be in those positions for unselfish reasons. People in need must be taken into consideration, and helped.
Second, chisms between religions must be bridged.
Finally, minor disputes must between nations must be settled immedietly before they get worse. Those matters must be looked at from an unbiased perspective.

Once those things are solved, different groups of people will be able to coexist in the world peacefully.

It will never change. All you can do is figure out the best way to deal with it. Any and all attempts to eliminate them have just made things worse.
