- THey had the home crowd behind them
- They had Tim Duncan, Ginobilli and Parker controlled for most of the game.kudos to cavs for D'in up!

- They had several opportunites to take the lead/cut the lead when they held the spurs scoreless for about 5 minutes towards the end of the 4th while down by 4...why couldn't they go over the hump?

- Lebron was fouled, while he was dribbling...if they had called a fould it would've hurt teh cavaliers since lebron and his shaky allergic to clutch stroke would go to the free throw line down 3 by only to get a maximum of 2 points with like 2 seconds left.it was a trade off anyways as Lebron got free and rose up for a wide open 29 footer which he missed.

- OH yea, the cavs got 11 more shot opportunities than the spurs (79-68) and 15 offensive rebounds comapred to 7 of the spurs. Thanks to Z and gooden's work. ADMIT THE FACT THAT Lebron has teammates that get the job done. Stop giving excuses on how lousy teammates are

Thoughts??

EVERYTHING that was supposed to happen, did.

-Duncan out with foul trouble and no points in 2nd and 3rd quarter.
-Dominating the offensive glass.
-Parker weak first half.
-Gionoblii very weak game.
-Missed half of their free throws.

All those things went their way, but all went bad too.
-Lebron couldnt shoot.
-Gibson shot awful.
-Under 20% 3 point shooting.
-Got tired.

Lebron and the Cavs couldn't win tonight because they are nowhere near as good as the Spurs. I dont believe that anybody that follows basketball had the Spurs winning in anything less than 5 games. I had the Spurs in 4.
LOOK....Cavs are in the finals only because the East is weak, if they played in the WEST this team would not make the playoffs or at best be a 7 or 8 seed and get swept in the 1st round.

No way will the Cavs win. They dont really have anything to play for. Their locked in place. The 76ers need this win to move up a place in the standings. Without LbJ, Williams, Z and Joe the cavs dont compare to the 6ers.

took too many threes, missed layups, but what you left out..LeBron can't even hit a single jump shot in this series...let alone in the season...he's too inconsistent and you rarely see him get hot (game 5 vs Pistons). Look, just cause you have a body of a running back doesn't mean you can always plow through a crowd...you gotta learn to take the fade aways and the off balance J's. Steve Nash does it, Kobe does it, Wade does it, even Dirk does it often...it's one of the key aspects to being successful in the NBA. If he knew how to shoot a few jump shots, they woulda won this game

They are in a different category than the Spurs.

Because it just wasn't good enough.

They really need to hire a field goal coach for the team, seriously.

I think--with due apologies--that this is all sound and fury signifying nothing. The Cavs simply couldn't get it done.
