im asking about the five families because they are the oldest mafia in america and i dont know why but i really respect them but i dont know whos stronger and who has more influence over the other families although im sure the colombians and russians are strong the main point is there is a sense of honor loyalty and respect among the italian mafia and the fact that they still have traditions and values thats why i have such respect for them even though they are "criminal" .

Are you sure you want to limit it to the Italians? What about the Colombians and Russians? I wouldn't ignore their strength and "determination" in favor of the five families.

The Gambinos used to be, at least since Carlo's reign ending with Gotti. Now they're a shell of their former selves, as are the rest.
