He should be fine. Put some stress coat in with him. And don't be surprised if he won't eat for a few days. Just keep him in clean warm water 80F and he should be fine.

If he's still breathing, he should be fine. Mine did that, but I didn't discover him until it was to late. You may want to take a little water out of the tank, so that it's not so high that he can clear the top

bettas don't need water to breathe -- they can actually stay out of water for a while -- they usually ship show bettas from asia in wet paper and not in water. as long as he isn't too stressed he should survive. you might want to double the amount of water conditioner because it will help him repair any external damage.

In the wild they move from puddle to puddle by crawling to the next one. They breathe air. The question is how dry did he get and if he removed his protection on his body. There is really no way to tell it can go either way. Do you have any stress coat? If so, use some. I would lower the level of the water too.

The only thing you can really do is put him back in the water and hope for the best. Good luck, and I hope it's okay.

Bettas love to jump and like warm water. I think he may be ok if he is still moving around bit. If not they are cheap at the store.

He might be ok, but I doubt that he will survive any length of time. Sorry.
Maybe go out and buy another one that looks just like him and keep him in your room, so that if and when it dies, you have a replacement and your son might not even notice.

I suppose so, there shouldn't be a problem. Just feed it as normal.

Sometimes they will recover if they are put back into water right away.
Its not gaurenteed that he will recover, depends on how long it was out of water.
