what is a symbol on at war uniform it is a circle with a eagle in the middle with a circle on his head and the circle has something inside but i cant tell what it is

Is this patch, by any chance, yellow with black lettering?? The closest I could find had a bigger circle of yellow with a smaller red circle around an eagle with its wings spread. Under the wings are things that look something like bombs--like fighter jets carry their bombs. If this is the one, it is of the 27TH FIGHTER SQUADRON.

Sounds like the Great Seal of the US to me... it's the de facto coat of arms of the US

The cap badge on the hat is definitely the great seal.

Could be any thing from the US Air Force to some Nazi insignia.
