I've found that putting a question to a vote is rarely fair, since most people pick the first answer without even reading it, happy just to have made one point. How do you decide?

I read all of them and choose the one that gives the best information. I find in alot of questions that several answers are good but I have to choose the BEST one according to my opinion. I wish I could choose more than one at times, but I try and give thumbs up to all that seemed to take the time to answer honestly and just not answer to get a few points.

If there's no right or wrong I go with the one I like best and if I can't decide I let it go to a vote, much as I hate doing that.

If I can't decide, I pick whoever's answer is longest. That way I can reward the person who typed the most.

Sometimes I pick the one who seemed to try the hardest, sometimes the first to respond, sometimes eeny meeny miney moe.

I decide by which ones comes closest to truly answering the question. honest and open responses are always all good.

I don't ask much questions. but I choose whoever is nicest and good sport about it.
