How do I report a suspicious buyer?

Posting a suspicious email? Opinions?

I m so sorry for not getting back to you the bank just mailed me that they are going through a reformation and can not mail out checks for now.

With respect to this i thought of you printing out the check from your printer d this will make the transaction faster and safer because my customers need the item very urgent.So you will need versa check paper and magnetic ink for printing out the check and you can get this at any office depot around you it only cost $40 but i promise to refund back to you $100 for the materials.

Please i m sorry for any inconviniences this might cause you but i need your assistance in this because of my customers i have been building good business relationship with for long and will not like to dissappoint them at this stage.

please kindly get ahead now and purchase the printing materials so we can move ahead

Report a suspicious buyer? as in on Ebay? or where?

I agree though just from what you posted that this does not sound right. If the person cannot mail you a check they could send you a money order or a cashiers check.

Do not go through any expense of any kind for any one person. If it's on Ebay they usually have an email to report stuff to. If it's another means of selling online, all companies should have some kind of customer service you can contact and report this person to.

Trust your instincts, if it sounds fishy, it is.

just a random email?
Is the file they are trying to get you to print actually a rootkit or a zeroday exploit?

i think i'd delete it and let it go
