There are different name for the same position in a restaurant. Such as Q.A., Expo, Galley Man, or pass-through/alley coordinator. They are usually in charge of making sure all plate that leave the kitchen are presentable, tickets are not running long, and that the servers are doing what they need to do. Taking care of mistakes such as re-fires and service or kitchen mistakes. They are usually the middle man between the servers and kitchen line/chef. Most often they are a head trainer or manager.
