do you have any siblings? are you close to them? why or why not?

i have a little brother and a little sister. my brother and i are 6 1/2 years apart and we get along well, my sister and i are 15 1/2 years apart and i am the very close to her she is my everything and most people think she is mine!! it's really funny, i think we are soo close because she is disabled and i spend a lot of time with her!!

there were 10 kids in my family...there are only 12 years between the oldest and the youngest..there are 3 siblings who don't have anything to do with the rest of us. i'm pretty close to 6 of my siblings..to varying degrees. i was the closest to my youngest sister.she died in april. i was with her every day and lived with her the last 8 months..to take care of her..i was always like a mom to her.

I have a sister whos 14 months older than me and a brother who is 22 months younger than me. I'm close to both of them but more close to my sister. We are extremely close in age and we did EVERYTHING together up until she went to college 8 hours away. It helps that we're both girls too. When she went to college, I stayed home and cried all day. But shes been back for about 2 years now. Things are almost the same as they used to be but not quite being that I have a husband and a daughter and she has a fiance and we live an hour apart. Whenever we get together though it feels just like old times. We've spent over 7 hours just talking before. Shes always been my best friend and always will be.

I am 27 and I have 3 siblings. The oldest is 33 and we are not close b/c he is quite a bit older and he is really emo. We have completely different interests. I am close to my sister who is 29. We weren't close until we became adults and she needed me to watch her kid. We get along well b/c well, we just do. But she is pretty emo too. And my little brother passed away 2 yrs ago. He would have been 24 this year. We were close b/c he was my partner in crime. He had a few learning disabilities and I had alot of compassion for him. We had similar interests and friends. As he got older we weren't as close b/c he started drinking alot and dabbled in drugs which I did not. So...that's it.

I have 5 siblings - 4 brothers and 1 sister. I am very close to my sister. We are 6 years apart in age and she is the closest in age to me. I am not nearly as close to my brothers, since they are much older than me. My oldest brother is 15 years older than me!

2 bros and 1 sister. An older brother & sister then a younger brother.
Growing up, my older brother and I were never super close but now that he's moved out we're much closer. He was never really that into sports (minus watching but even then he wasn't that into it) so I never really had anything in common with him. My older sister is a brat (lol) and is very the opposite of me, she's very very girly & is more shallow then I am, and I'm much more the athlete. My younger brother and I get along most of the time, but we all know how younger brothers can be.

I had a twin brother who passed away when we were fifteen. I have five older half brothers from my fathers marriage they range from the ages of 23-33. I get along and talk occasionally with my half brothers Cam. (short for Cameron) and Philip. This is just from my biological fathers side

My biological mother has two older daughters I get along ok with them.

I was raised however by my grandparents and I was raised as an only child. The person I'm closest to right now is my best friend Sean and we've been friends since we were 8.

2 brothers and 2 sisters.....pretty close really.....I live in another town an hour away from the others. My older brother is a little distant from the rest of us, but comes through in times when I need him to.

I've got two older sisters, ages 32 and 30. I'm not too close to the 32 y/o because she's 7 yrs older than me. She never wanted to hang around with me and never let me go anywhere with her. She always thought she was so much better than all of us so she never wanted to be around us. Now that we're adults I think we're getting closer.

The 30 y/o would be my best friend if I didn't already have a best friend. We are 95% alike... have the same likes, dislikes, interests, are both quirky... I could go on forever. She's 5 yrs older than me. She never wanted me around either, but my mother pretty much forced her to babysit me after school all the time, and I think I just grew on her.

With my mom I have 4. 2 brothers and 2 sisters. I am close to 1 sister and she is the only one I talk to really. I love ya sis... As for with my father(not my dad) as far as I know I have 11 as far as I know. Know them a lil bit.

my older sister is 2 yrs older than me and we arent close, we never were, my parents NEVEr really encouraged us to get along,she led a welfare breeding kinda life for a long time which I didnt respect.

I have two sisters. One is two years younger than me, the other is 10 years older than me. I'm much closer emotionally to the younger one for the simple reason that I have lived with her all my life. I didn't even know I had another sister until one of my family members had the kindness to tell me. I knew the older one, but I only knew her as a family friend, I had a crush on her for a while then discovered she was my step-sister. Ironic, huh?
