See if they have a large print version, and request that. I've noticed, at least at my library, that there were a lot less requests for the large print version. (30 verses 297) (I'm hold numbers 13 and 65)

I'm going to be away from home with no access to a bookstore when it comes out, otherwise I'd be buying it July 16th. So I'm resorting to library. (It's cheaper though)

That is a little-known trick to getting popular books on reserve quicker. Kudos for having thought of it!

Also, I applaud your fortitude in waiting--I can't wait that long.

No thanks. I dont like library books. I have my own library right here in my house. A real room filled with real books. I always buy my own. But it's a good idea. Easier on the eyes too. Pax- C

i already ordered it in the mail a long time ago...its getting delivered to my door on the 21st. my only regret is that UPS doesnt run at midnight...

Thanks, but I'm definitely gonna be there at midnight, not waiting for a large-print reserve.... good advice, though.
