as was indicated by a couple of your answer responses, black cats are linked to the Moon, Magick, Women's Mysteries, The occult, particularly associated with Venus the love goddess. And Athena....it depends on the pantheon you follow.
Simply put, it could be an indication for you to listen to the universe, stop ignoring the spiritual side of yourself. Explore your power; it is within all of us.

Dream interpretation is incredibly difficult as most of these symbols seen hold personal meaning for people. I have many books on dream interpretation, and have always found it more effective to think about what the symbol means specifically to me.
Your black cat dream is a good example of this. I view black cats as good omens and white ones as a sign of ill things/health to come. If I had a dream such as yours, to me, the color of the cat wouldn't be as important as they way it presented itself. You state that it was like someone standing up in a movie theater, which to me would signify a disruption in the events that were occurring in the dream. I would suggest you focus more on this disturbance in events.... What was happening in the dream at that time?

I have a dreamers dictionary and it says about a black cat. It says... Seeing a black cat is a warning of impending danger.
Seeing several black cats: Be careful, your lover is unfaithful and may turn your back on you any moment.
Dreaming about wild cats: You might get in a fight with someone living close to you, prefering to your neighbors.

A Black cat is usually a sign of misfortune to come. However it could just be a fear of misfortune sense it was in your dreams.

awwwe<3 that sounds like a really cool dream! i had an MJ dream a few days ago but sadly it wasn't anything half as good as yours :/ anyways, maybe its Michael coming to you to say that he wants your life to go on and for you to do great things as he wanted his fans to. Umm that means that if you go to your home town theater or nearby theater some how you'll have bad luck there(something bad or embarrassing will happen there).Well...........it depends if your telling the truth!But......I believe you.
