12 = 12, by the reflexive property. You can't have 12 equal 12 plus or minus "a little bit", because then it's no longer 12. Even 11.9999... with the 9s repeating forever is equal to 12.

Yup, silly you. Of course, you could be in a different base system, such as hexadecimal where "C" is the notation for 12 in the base-10 system.
