What should i do if my computer crashes?

run an error chk and defrag (my computer, right click C: drive, properties, 2nd tab.)

alot of people don't know this second trick :) put in your os cd (assuming its xp) and go to the run command and type "sfc scannow" without the "".

Your computer is in bad need of some cleaning. There might be too may files in your PC. Start deleting those you don't need, especially unnecessary desktop icons. Those fragmented files are also speedbreakers. Run a disk defragmenter. Go to Accessories then System tools, then Disk Defragmenter. Use the Disk Cleanup utility too.

Start menu --- Programs --- Accessories --- System tools

Running some spyware and adware scans will remove nast critters. Spybot and Ad-Aware 2007 are the best free ones I use:
