Eventually — but don't count on this for a birth-control method! Sperm that leave a man's body and are exposed to air are very unlikely to enter a woman's vagina and result in pregnancy. However, it's not strictly impossible for this to occur.

Sperm can live for more than 24 hours after ejaculation. This is largely because the sperm are protected and nourished by the fluid that mixes with sperm to form semen. Exactly how long sperm live depends on the environment — longer inside the warm natural environment of the female reproductive tract, and shorter when exposed to air and to cooler temperatures

No. Go find your own sources. They can live a couple of minutes outside the body. It's the cold that kills them, not the air.
Your health class sounds like it rocks! I didn't learn this kind of stuff when I was in high school.....

thats not sperm you see, thats called SEMEN. the sperm is very very tiny. and it doesn't die instantly when its in the air. its main killer is acid from the vagina. thats what semen is for, to protect the sperm from the acid of the vagina so it can make it to the egg(i learned this last year in health class!).

No, so long as it is warm it can live for several days, though the exact number of days seems to vary between sources.

Nope. Air is not a sperm killer.

Once it hits the air, they say it dies. BUT it can live in you for up to 3 days. (That's what they taught us in school)
