An endless pool is an amazing training tool for an endurance athlete or competitive distance swimmer. For a normal person it may seem like a waste of money. However, for someone who swims 8000 to 10000 yards a day it's a very worthwhile investment. The adjustable jets can simulate currents and open water athletes love this feature for the cold months when swimming outdoors is not as inviting. Also they are great for those with limited space to install a pool. You own it so there is no membership fee and it is easily accessible if you install it in your home making training easier and more convenient. If I had the money I would install one in a second!

But if you're an average person who takes no joy in swimming laps and wants a pool to play in than no, it might not be in your best interest to install an endless pool.

As for calling it "stupid", that's a pretty off base assumption. The principles behind the building of an endless pool are pretty advanced applied physics. The creator probably wasn't "stupid" and the pool itself has opened up many doors for theraputic uses as well as competitive athletics. However, if you are one of those people who assumes anything that does not apply to you directly is "stupid" than you may make that assumption without further research.

Very stupid, lol, why waste money on that thing when we can just swim laps around the pool. What are the great philosophers of the past thinking about us....soo sad. Can I have ten points please?

It works great if all you want to do is swim laps, but that's probably the least fun thing to do in a swimming pool.

I noticed it, and it seems misleading to those who don't think, because pools can't be endless.

They are good for small places. They are also for training and handicapped people. The constant current will defenately do you some good. They arent recreational devices.

How would you advertise it?
