Yes. My husbands cousin has been pregnant twice with one ovary. Tell her good luck with the operation if she has to have it.

usually women ovulate from a different ovary every month, i dont know if that changes when one is removed. i believe they can do some kind of test to see if the ovary left behind is working adequately. if you try and cannot concieve naturally after the surgery, they should be able to do artificial insemination of one of her own eggs. they can also do fertility treatments to ensure ovulation from that ovary every month. Good luck and i hope the best for you, hope it helps

The answer is YES! It may take a little longer but you only need one to get pregnant. My friend has one ovary 100 %blocked. I would think that's pretty much the same thing. The Dr. told her she only needed one to do the job.
If your wanting to get pregnant - good luck!
If not, use protection!
I hope that helped.

Yes, but only every other month instead of every month and quite frankly the fact that she had to have one overy removed may be indicitive of other difficulties getting pregnant (or it may be meaningless and she may have no problems getting pregnant). If you really want a child you may want to look into your options with a fertility doctor if she doesn't get pregnant after 6 months or whatever.
A friend of mine had the same thing happen, but she really wanted kids. Her and her husband kept trying but by the time they went to a fertility doctor there wasn't much time and it jsut never happened. They are a bit sad about this (don't want to adopt), but hey, the silver lining is that she makes a great babysitter.

Sure. She would most likely have a 50/50 chance depending on the condition of her ovary.

Yes because you normally ovulate with every other ovary. So you can take one away and still get pregnant.

yes. our bodies are amazing! Every month our ovaries kinda switch back and forth. One month the left produces the egg the next the right. She just has to know the symptomes of ovulation and pay attention to her body. Good Luck!

Yes but it may take longer...as long as her ovary that she does still have is in good medical condition...no cyst or scaring of any kind.

Yes, you have two ovaries, her odds are cut in half, but still possible. Stay supportive to her, I heard that process is not easy.
