almost every time there is a countdown, the cal-stanford finish is the greatest play. but i also am REALLY amazed by Tyrone Protho's catch for Alabama against Southern Miss in the 2005 season.

Cal win vs the Stanford band will always stand out as #1...but my personal favorite was the "Miracle In Michigan"(also known as "Rocket Left") with future pros from the Colorado Buffaloes, Kordell Stewart and Michael Westbrook hooking up on the final play in Ann Arbor...Imagine over a hundred thousand people or so becoming silent all at once(I suppose more like eighty nine thousand or so...depending on how many Buffalo fans were there that day) and the golden voice of Keith Jackson exclaiming...."CAUGHT...FOR A TOUCHDOWN...BY WESTBROOK......(pause)

INNNCREDIBLE!(That's the word that sends shivers down my spine...from that "incredible" voice!)

That Fiesta Bowl with Oklahoma and Boise State was damn good, too...I thought Zabransky had blown it when Marcus Walker took it to the house for the sooners...but then that lateral that sent it to OT...Peterson's quick TD(thought it was over again!) and that CRAZY sequence with the halfback option pass for TD and the PERFECT draw play behind-the-back handoff to Johnson for the two-point conversion...excellent, excellent memorable play!
