To be a recipient of a home or to be a volunteer who throws in labor to assist in the building of the home you do NOT have to have perfect credit. That is the whole point of it; People who could not buy a house will get one without credit worries and those who want to help but are cash-poor themselves can aid them.

i was under the impression that is was for people with limited resources and income. i could be wrong.
