i had ovulated and they asked if it was possible if i was pregant they didnt want to the blood test they did the urine and of course it came up neg. but then i went to another hosptial and they did do a blood test and the level was 50. The nurse said more than likely she didnt think it was postitive but they seen a cyst on my ovary on the ct. the nurse seemed like she was new and didnt know what she was talking about. i have done two tests and one was postitive and the other was neg. so i have went with the neg. with a blood score of 50 does that seem like i should believe i am and get another test? i hate to waste my money and get another neg test. i left that hosptial because they had left me in the room for a whole day with nothing to eat im dibeatic. i had kidney stones.24 hours with nothing to eat. i left very sick. anyway my question is should i remember the 50 score does that seem like the cyst could be the start of something ihave had 4 kids.

I would recommend getting another opinion and preferably from someone that is not in the same office as this nurse. I would recommend trying a Medical School if one is close to you if you haven't already.
As for making it so that you couldn't eat for 24 hours I would recommend filing a complaint with the hospital administration.
As for the cyst itself it depends on what kind of cysts. Some kinds of cysts such as functional cysts (non-cancerous kind) can come and go on their own.
When they don't go away on their own they can sometimes cause a lot of pain. I had to have a cyst drained in 2003 and so far I've not had anymore problems.
