The only time you can get pregnant is during ovulation. And ovulation happens 10-16 days (with 14 being most common) before the onset of your next period. For example, if your cycles are typically about 32 days in length then you will ovulate anywhere from cycle day 16-22 with about day 18 being most likely. For the best odds you should have sex every other day during this period and also the day before and day of ovulation.

You ovulate 2 weeks before your period. If you got your period 2 days after having sex, it means the best time for you to conceive was about 2 weeks ago. If you really want to try, then start trying about a week and a half to two weeks after your period. It's not a science, but sperm can live in your body for roughly 72 hours. These factors should give you a very good window for getting pregnant.

You have to figure out your time of ovulation. It is in the middle of your periods. Two days before you start is not the time you get pregnant. There are 28 days in a cycle. If you start in the first, count 15 days afterward. In a three or four day radius, these are the days you ovulate and can become pregnant.

No, when ever you get your period your not pregnant. You should wait one week after you period because by than your eggs will be developed ready for a sperm to go in. By any means you should go to Walgreen's and buy this thing that tells you when is the best time to have sex. It should be by the pregnancy testing.

You could be pregnant but the chances are very low..the best time to get pregnant is 14 days after your period ♥

If you want to try naturally, the best thing to do is figure out how long your cycle is and then when you ovulate. Usually a woman who has a pretty normal (28 - 30) day cycle will ovulate on day 14 of the cycle. This means that by day 12 you should start trying.

Otherwise I recommend an ovulation kit.

i would think that since its a heavy period that your not pregnant but anything is possible. When i was trying to get pregnant i foudn this website... http://www.fertilityfriend.com

i registered and it was for free and there is a calander that you plug in your LMP and everything like that.
You keep track of everything day to day like your discharge, body temperature pretty much everything!!!
and i did it and was pregnant within 2 months of tracking it all.
it will tell you on your personalized chart the 3 most fertile days of the month and like 2 days before thoes 3 have sex like crazy and it shall work.
Good luck to you! :)

Buy an ovulation kit from like CVS. Use it like a pregnancy test (urinate on the sticks every day after the 14 day into your cycle). Find out when you are ovulating then have sex every other day. You'll get pregnnat with the kit. I did twice. Two beautiful girls later....Don't worry about the period thing. if you are pregnant, you would not have it at all.

chances are slim....

best time to try is 48hrs before you ovulate, and i think continually for 3-4 days..

they say sprem can live in your body for 5 days, but im pretty sure, thats only on occasion... so best to do it as much as possible!!!.. lol.. your egg only lives for 24hrs unfetilized.
if you dont know your cycle, get some ovulation tests..

but start trying to conceive from around day 9 of your cycle, (remember it starts 1st day of your period) and keep going till day 15 or 16, if you dont get the tests..

best of luck!!!

My doctor told me
On you first day of your period, Count nine days
From the 9th day (after the first day of your period) to the 15th day, have sex every other day. To be save, you can add days.
This should cover most people
This work for me, the first time, after trying for almost three years.
Good luck
