If you're using Internet Explorer, first get to your "Temporary Internt Files" folder. It should be here:
C:\Documents and Settings\[YOUR USER NAME]\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files
Go looking through there and you'll find files such as:
cookie:[USER NAME]@yahoo.com
Delete the ones you don't want and then restart Internet Explorer for the changes to take effect.
In Firefox, follow these instructions (sorry about just copying and pasting):
1) Open the Tasks menu, choose Privacy & Security, and then choose Cookie Manager.
2) Choose View Stored Cookies from the submenu. The Cookie Manager window opens with a list of all the cookies stored on your computer.
3) Select one or more cookies and click Remove Cookie, or click Remove All Cookies.

Yes, how depends upon what your OS is. In Win XP home edition, click START, Control Panel, Internet Options, Settings, (where it says "Delete temporary files, history, cookies, saved passwords, and web form information"), then click "View Files", move the cursor, using the mouse, to highlight the cookie you want to delete, press delete, it will ask if you really want to delete it, click yes.
To minimize the amount of material you will see here, at the Internet Properties window, Click Delete, then Delete files, which will delete the temporaty internet files.
