He isn't. He's merely the worst president since Bill Clinton.

compared to who?
I am gathering american presidents not sadaam hussein...

THere are people who views are coloured by their beleifs or by what they watch on the media (or by michael moore who helped the republicans win their elections by appearing to be a democrat supporter and a total loon... I enjoyed most his his movies by the way)

REgardless of my beliefs (ok I am a Bush suporter and not an american unfortuneately.. so if you want you can stop reading my reply now....) I will try to answer this one (this is why these are here - right ? for reasonable ansers...lol)

REally only history will tell - and that may not be via the historians but from how the future is and what happens and by then we may have no realy major problems and peole will still bag Bush whther it is his fault or not..

People will probably forget about this when the next US president comes and and gets canned for the mistakes he (or she...) makes - no one is perfect and whatever you do someone will be annoyed at you (maybe someones....)

Is Bush the worse president ever?
what has the done right?
what has he done wrong?

some may argue nothing right and everything wrong - but then why, if he was sooo wrong, was he re-elected - he must have been doing a good enough job and was probably helped by a poor or badly organised opposition come election time (the sad fact is that the democrats lost - but that is not the sad part - they complained, ***** and screamed about it - now that is sad - take your loss, no need ot be happy about it but whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger doesn't it?).

oops sorry I am getting off track again.... but you must (well may...) agree that he has kept the terrorists in the middle east - why spend all that money to kill americans overseas when you can catch a bus an dtry to kill them in the streets? Although they seem to have found out the the americans shoot backa dn are VERY good shots so they just kill Iraqi's and say they are collaborators or use roadside bombs - but teh only success they seem to be having is making them look like a sick bunch of wimps as their god is not helping thm kill and drive out the infidels, most muslems it seems would like to live a comfortable and safe life like they do in america....

so there is success for you - america is a safe place to live, you can walk the streets without worrying about being shot (still happens but a very very small number..) and even burn the flag or bad mouth the leaders without being jailed, tortured or having your head cut off...

That would be Lincoln...

In the Emancipation Proclamation Lincoln's pious rhetoric was intended to inflame the slaves in the Confederate States and start a slave rebellion that would disrupt the Confederate Army and aid the Union war effort. Only, the proclamation freed no slaves in the North, nor did it free any in the Confederate States that bordered a Union State. The only slaves the Emancipation Proclamation attempted to free were those in the deep South where the Union had no authority. Thus, no slaves were freed by him. Lincoln's Vice President, Andrew Johnson—a Tennessean slave owner and a Democrat—pushed Congress to enact a constitutional amendment to free the slaves after he became the 17th President of the United States Lincoln's legacy is one of unconstitutionally assessing an income tax on the American people and squashing the Bill of Rights. Lincoln created what the South feared—a virtual dictatorship over the people of the United States. From 1861 to 1865 liberty did not exist in the United States.

He is a great President ! Carter is the worst.

Look at what Bush has had to deal with.

Being an eloquent speaker does not a president make
nor does a president break.

He is such a good, strong, smart and determined person. He wants what is good for the USA. It may not be the most popular ideas that he has about things but he does what he thinks is best for our country as a whole.

What is up with no weapons of mass destruction found. What do you call serum gas and all this germ warfare. That in my opinion would be weapons of mass destruction.

Good question. A couple off the top of my head. My history professor neighbor can go on for hours with factoids about this.

Starting a war without just cause.
Radically shifting political discourse away from reason and toward spin, lies, and carefully managed image.
Derailing the US traditional approach to foreign policy and making most of the rest of the world hate us.
Lying about why the war was started.
Thereby endangering our troops based on a lie. So far 3500 American troops dead and many times that number permanently injured. Countless Iraqis men, women and children killed ("for their own good")
Appointing incompetent friends to positions of power.
Defending those friends (e.g. Rumsfeld, Brown) when they'd cost many Americans their lives.
Misrepresenting scientific findings for political reasons. Pressuring scientists to underplay the dangers of global warming that there is a tremendous consensus about among scientists.

There has never been a President that has done the following in 6 years:

-Went to war without cause and without a plan
-Alienated a number of allies and world support
-Increased the national debt significantly
-Responded poorly to a major hurricane where thousands of Americans died.
-Immigration amnesty
-Doing nothing about the borders during the war on terror.

These are just a few...Aren't these enough to answer your question?

He got us into a pre-emptive war that had nothing to do with 9/11. He has cost us billions and billions of dollars fighting this war, which has been mis-managed from the start. He constantly lies and/or is totally misguided in his view of reality and when he does finally admit he's wrong about something, he plays it off like it is no big deal.
