Most doctors will do it at 20 weeks. Some can tell as early as sixteen weeks but it is harder. I had a 3D ultrasound at 17 weeks with my son. I totally recommend the 3D. It looks just like a picture...no grainy black and white. We knew 100% because of how clear the ultrasound is. A lot of doctors do not offer the 3D's because there is no diagnostic capabilites but there are several companies that will do them as an elective procedure. You could try a web search of your area. My doctor did both my ultrasounds with my pregnancies at around 20 weeks. So I think it's around 18-22 weeks or so.

well they told me at 19 1/2 weeks that im having a girl..she said she was 100% cuz of the 3 little white lines...Now im 22 weeks along!!!
