if i had the money i would visit egypt or iran to see how rich there culture is. I think if a lot of people who are rich in america who went to these countries will find out that these people are not a threat to america. they will also learn something about islam. you americans might even see that the mosques are drenched in lots of colors. i personally seen pictures of mosques and they are more difficult then building churches. what i dont get is americans refuse to visit a muslim country in middle east or north africa because they are racist and afraid since the american media shows always negative stuff about the islam world. I also do not get why americans always bash the islam religion but refuse to visit a muslim restaurant in america. plus what would you do if satan if you dont believe him or not come and destroy your country. would you sit and allow the evil being destroy your country or will go against satan and do anything necesary to get rid of him and his occupiers.

Recent history has shown that travel to the muslim world is a bit dangerous for Americans. The foreign service have warning out on some countries in the area you speak of. Hopefully this can all be put behind us someday soon so international travel will be safer.

If you really want an answer to your question as to why we don't visit Iran, all you need to do is look at what is currently going on. The supposed "high cultured" Iranian government has been illegally holding four U.S. citizen for the past month under the guise that they are spies. Next time you want to get on your soap box and start preaching cultural tolerance, try holding that mirror up to the Iranian nation.

The Nazis never occupied any part of the Middle East. And their stay in North Africa was too short lived for them to go after the Jewish population there.

Hold on to your camel Akmed. If you have been following current events, you may understand that there is a very real chance that Iran as you now know it will cease to exist in our lifetime. Despite all of the sabre rattling, Iraq and Afghanistan were easily overtaken. We Americans had to employ a special team of French workers to make white flags fast enough for them to surrender. In general I agree with your sentiment that "most" of the folks from this region are good and decent God (or Allah if you like) fearing people, just like us.. It is the few who ruin it fo the many. We don't like it either, but we will continue to kick their a$$es until the problem goes away.

You are a font of misinformation. We have seen pictures of muslims blowing up your mosques
I am sure the mosques are beautiful, but mosques have little interest to me when you cannot trust the inhabitence.
While 90% may be wonderful, I fear the 10%.
As far as Satan is concerned, you can deal with him.

Until you stop hating Americans, we will settle for reading about northern Africa and the Middle East in books.

In the same post as you clearly state that you will do anything to get rid of your enemy you wonder why we won't visit Islamic countries or businesses? In a culture that applauds when Americans are kidnapped and killed? Where it's leaders call for our destruction?
You're comments are insane.

Well, I don't think that USA wants to visit countries that support terrorist organizations, especially Iran. USA just likes to mess around with Europe, in which mostly white people live.

Undoubtedly they are beautiful countries with rich heritage. I have no doubt that for the most part the people are kind and gracious....it's the crazy Ahole with the automatic weapon, and the firm belief that Americans should die for Allaha, that keeps a lot of us away
